"6’2 Senior Kory Cooley of QEA: This was our first viewing of Cooley. Cooley is a smooth and athletic guard that has outstanding body control. He can hurt you off dribble penetration or knock down the 3-pointer with consistency. Cooley has excellent shooting mechanics and is a lock down defender".

KORY COOLEY GIVES COOLIDGE

THE DCIAA VICTORY!

With only seconds left in the game, Kory Cooley, who had gone on a fourth quarter shooting spree, gives the Coolidge Colts the victory with his winning free throw.

“Biggest shot of my life, so far,” said Cooley, who scored nine points in the fourth quarter after being held scoreless the first three quarters. “I was going through a little slump. I wasn’t in my rhythm, but luckily, fourth quarter, my shot came to me and I was able to knock it down in the clutch.” (quote from the Washington Post).

When asked about his winning free throw Cooley states:

“It’s very underrated. All points are part of the game,” Cooley said of the free throw. “If you win by one, you win by 30, it’s the same thing.” (quote from the Washington Post).
